The Oxford Committee for feminine (OXFAM) relief has been founded in the year of 1942 by Britain. In the year 1995 the OXFAM it has been formed by a nongovernmental organization for reducing the poverty and injustice on a global basis. The OXFAM group has organized different campaigns with the aim to supply food to the undernourished children and women during world war two (OXFAM, 2020). They have provided their services in about 90 countries in order to fulfil the need for economically streamlined people. The main vision of OXFAM is to have a world with high sustainability, and the people will be the epicentre of the entire economy of each country.
Penny Lawrence, the chief executive officer has given resigned in the year 2013 with an obligation that the team members of OXFAM have used the sex workers in the consequences of the earthquake, which has happened in 2011. Being a member of parliament and the former and former British conservative politician, Mr. Hague has commented that the foreign aid spending would be cut due to the involvement of OXFAM in the sex scandal. He also commented that it is very important to deal Strategic Management with this thing faintly. In this article, it has also maintained that the government is reducing the spending on foreign aid (INDEPENDENT, 2018). According to the GDP percentage, the current foreign spending is 0.7% and the government has decided aimed at the sex scandal for the workers of OXFAM that a strict investigation will be followed. In the second article, it has been mentioned that the government has decided to cut all the spending on the OXFAM.
It can be clearly observed that according to the second article, the government is not agreeing with the statement that has been made in the first article. However, in the second article, it has been mentioned that the government has decided to cut all spending including the 0.7% of the national income. In this stage, a conflict has been generated due to the disagreement in the decisions of the government. Nevertheless, the people of the country have said that the resignation of the deputy chief is not enough and that is why the government needs to take legal actions against OXFAM. The institutional failing of OXFAM has for the British taxpayer not to fund it and instead of this, the money needs to be funded somewhere else.
According to the second article, the country’s people are not ready to pay a 0.7% GDP of their income, and OXFAM needs to reform its reputation as a charity. However, in the first article, the government agrees that the work has done by OXFAM is strong that it has been considered a crime and needs to investigate in an adequate manner (GOV.UK, 2020). Jacob Rees Mogg has said that the budget of foreign aid needs to cut nevertheless according to the Daily express, people of the country need to commit them to meet the 0.7% target is an obligation and they need not follow this. In the second article, the government has denied that obligation by strictly prohibiting the rule for the payment of GDP. it has been said that other charities can be a part of that and due to this reason before taking any decision the government must check other suspecting charities.
It can be observed that the difference in governmental decisions can be seen between these two different articles. No charity should not be based on public funding this is the governmental response that has stated in article two and this disagrees with article one as the government still has decided to continue to pay 0.7% of the income (EXPRESS, 2018). A conflict in decision- making can be observed in these articles. In the first article, the international development secretary of the UK has stated that all the UK charities need to work in demanding assurance and leadership however, in the second article nothing has stated like this. In charity, work transparency needs to maintain for which a fruitful work culture is maintained in order to protect people. In the second article, a conflict Management in decision-making can see and due to this reason, charity’s independence is gradually destroying. The fundraising is gradually decreasing and for that purpose, the ability to speak for the change is being lowered. These conflicts have been observed and a disagreement between these two articles is observed.
OXFAM’s sex scandal need not affect the foreign budget otherwise; a blunder can be seen this is stated in the first article but the second article is considering a disagreement in the decision- making (BBC NEWS, 2018). The governmental spending cutting means damaging the interest and a disability in dealing with the problem can be observed this statement also shows a difference in opinions with the second article (EXPRESS, 2018). In the second article, it has been stated that only cutting the GDP in a complete manner can solve the problem in an effective way however in the first article Lord Hague stated that the GDP need not stop but to cut down to the current level as for 0.7%.
The government has declared that a unit needs to make for the purpose of reviewing the safeguarding for stopping the rapacious individual and criminal from getting employed by another charity nevertheless no such decisions have been declared in article two. Sorting the problem of a developing country regarding the food, people stated, they need to consider is that this is actually not a British national’s responsibility but there are oyster NGO is who are ready for taking responsibility (INDEPENDENT, 2020). Other NGOs are discredited and due to this fact, people have started taking other NGOs thoughtfully even so in the first article nothing has been mentioned similar to this and for that reason, a contention concerning the decision can be observed.
This study concludes the capitalist system for consumers needs to change in order to reduce the corporate collapse however in the second article, no such decisions have been made and due to this reason, it can be said that in this place a conflict has been generated. The rewarding system need not continue because of the nice image of OXFAM and in the second article, it has been stated that people need to build trust in other NGOs through which the problem of backward people can be resolved, and in this place, a disagreement has observed in decisions. Due to the disagreement, the GDP needs to be paid in 0.7% through which government spending has been assessed and as per second article nevertheless in the first article, the government spending needed to stop for the crime, which has been made by OXFAM so that these problems can resolve.
