This insight demonstrates that, every single feature of the society is either considered dysfunctional or functional o the basis of the contribution of Psychology Dissertation it makes to stability of the society (Parsons, 2017). There are recurring problems between Ally and Elliot due to their preferences of extracurricular activities. There is also a popular group of youngsters that occasionally mistreated the kids who weren't as popular. The theory of social conflict is applicable here which forecasts change. When you consider this kind of social conflict on a wide scale, it explains undesirable social tendencies like racism, sexism, homophobia, ageism, and so forth. For instance, due to political protests that emphasised the antagonism between racial groups in the 1960s, the United States witnessed a significant change in the civil rights granted to African Americans. In our example of the case study, sports, can be observed as a simple incident of the social conflict theory. As they strive for points, runs, or touchdowns, various teams will undoubtedly clash with one another. Actually, without some sort of rivalry or competitiveness, sports would be meaningless. Fans of the various teams will show their allegiance by donning hats or shirts, and they may clash with one another (Go, 2020). Therefore, according to the conflict perspective, society is made up of various groups, each with its own set of interests. Conflict can be looked upon as insignificant and unlikely to result in a social change that is significant or a revolution. The institutionalised conflict theory states that “it is unlikely for conflict to spread between organisations when they are
geographically apartâ€. Conflict between groups is more pervasive and strong when the groups involved are likely to have stronger personalities in conflict with one another. For instance, sometimes it is anticipated that larger and more violent conflict occurs in a society where the majority of blacks were working-class Catholics and the majority of whites were bourgeois protestants than in a society where a sizable fraction of whites were working-class Catholics, and so forth.
This theory can be applied to these boys who are under constant social conflict. They are observed to be in a rifting relationship due to the difference in their interests. The boys need to be united through the theory of functionalism which emphasizes on the unification of the various categories of the society.
Therefore the psychosocial spiritual model with psychology essay writing will play an important role. A psychosocial-spiritual model is a strategy which is comprehensive and that recognises the relationship between the welfare of needs of a patient that are spiritual, social, psychosocial and physical.
